🖤 there are four storylines in the curation of the exhibition - leading the visitor through the artistic questions of the past and the techno-social questions of today. They are:
-1- What isn't the matrix? - critical route on how from being a radical and alternative space, the internet has become a great means of power; -2- on the internet, nobody knows you're a dog - addressing online identities and the history of how they transformed; -3- computer says maybe - on collaboration between humans and computers; the choices on the latter in the artistic process and how does it matter; and -4- do androids dream? - on computer aesthetics and how we look at the world (through their lenses).

_about
An exhibition featuring key works from 1960 to 2000, plus new interpretations by contemporary makers. REBOOT reveals the influence of digital technology on art and society. Alongside groundbreaking works by more than 20 artists, including Edward Ihnatowicz, Dick Raaijmakers, Driessens & Verstappen and Debra Solomon, there are new works by artist Jonas Lund, VR artist Ali Eslami, game designer Play the City and others. REBOOT is an initiative of Nieuwe Instituut and media art platform LI-MA.
